Pier 15 and Wall Street

It’s the final day in New York and we made sure to squeeze in a few more things! We went to Pier 15 and Wall Street and quite a few places in between. Since we were staying on Wall Street just along FDR Dr, we walked over to the water’s edge along the East River Bikeway path. We spent a short amount of time there, taking a few photos and then we began walking towards the bull. By the time we reached the “Charging Bull” in was already overcrowded, so I wasn’t able to get a photo with him but I did manage to get a decent photo of the little girl standing in front of the bull.

From there we headed over to grab some coffee and pop in and out of a few souvenir shops before heading over to Hanover Square.

Once we reached Hanover Square, we grabbed some lunch at Underdog and I opted for a burger since I knew we had a long day of traveling and I might not be able to eat again anytime soon.

After we filled our bellies, we began to walk back towards our room and I stopped to snap a photo of the New York Stock Exchange building. By the time we got back to our area, we still had some time to kill so we headed back over to the East River Bikeway again but this time we went over to Pier 15 and made the hike up the stairs so we could get a better view of the East River and the skyline of Brooklyn.

That was the last of the sightseeing we got to do before getting back to our place to scoop up our luggage and head over to Newark to catch our flights out. From Newark we flew to St. Louis, MO Lambert International Airport and had a little less than an hour layover before catching my final flight back to Houston.

I had an amazing time in New York and I’m happy to have gone with a great group of friends that knew the city well and helped to really utilize the time and see quite a bit! I definitely want to return sometime soon and see more of the city and check off a few more items on my Bucket List!
